Front Wheel Bearing Tool, Part #312120
When faced with a stubborn E30 front wheel bearing assembly that just would not go on, no matter how much hammering we did, we designed our own! BMW no longer stocks this tool in the US, though it was still available at last check. For substantially more, of course, and might arrive in 10 weeks if not in stock in Germany. This tool was prototyped and manufactured entirely in-house. Now it is available at a substantial discount to the dealership part and is made in the USA.
Tool #312120 fits all E30 BMWs with 30mm front axle nuts. For front wheel bearing assemblies only, the rears require another tool. Each tool comes packaged with instructions for use, which are also available on this page.
